Back in the City of Angels

Well, here I am back in LA for a week so that I can: A. see everyone one last time and B. get my visa. Supposedly you can only pick up your visa when the consulate emails you that it is ready (they tell you THE DAY it is ready). As of Tuesday I still hadn’t heard from the Chilean Consulate. So I emailed the lady and I complimented her a lot and thanked her many times and asked her if my visa could possibly please be ready this week while I’m in LA. Lo and behold, I just found out that she is making a huge exception for me and it will be ready tomorrow! The big exception is that it takes 4-6 weeks to process and mine has only been there for 5 weeks. Ooooo. But really it’s the best news I could have gotten this week (I may have even done a little victory dance when I found out). Now I am officially going to Chile! Ill let you know how my trip to the consulate goes…and until then I’ll have fun wandering around SC, visiting my favorite library (Doheny), eating tons of yogurtland, watching movies, and most importantly hanging out with my friends.
